Résumé :  During November 2005, France suddenly took up the first place in the international media scene. The most gloomy words, and the most untrue, could be heard. However, France witnessed the most important urban riots in its contemporary history: for the first time, the phenomenon is no more localized, specific to the quarter where a drama take place; on the contrary it take a national dimension. How to analyse those phenomenon? How to qualify and explain those collective identifications process in the poor neighbourhood’s youth? This article first question about those who ordinary don’t talk: rioters themselves. Then appears, beyond the riot’s context, the deep motives of their rage, which concern their everyday life’s experience, both individual and collective. Then, we extend the analysis to the inhabitants of those quarters, most of them also silent in the public debate. Their interrogation show an understanding indeed a share of some of those rioters’ deep motives. This explain the moral legitimacy feelings of rioters. In conclusion, this article diagnose a double integration’s crisis, socioeconomic and political, of those youth in contemporary French society.
