Résumé : |
In this short article, the author, a former captain of the English cricket team who became a psychoanalyst at the end of his sporting career, establishes a few parallels between the job of captain of a sports team and the profession of analyst. Detachment, passion, tenacity, sensitivity to atmosphere, management of projections and transfers, public visibility, are mentioned as so many aspects that are present in these two professional situations, which in appearance are so distant from each other. |
