The both environmental and organizational complexity leads to the simplification implementation in the organizations. While liberating the company appears as an issue for innovation, in processual culture this radical choice can lead to opposite effects or failure. The Volkswagen Group France case study illustrates how the implementation of simplification, as an organizational innovation, can lead to the company liberation. Our findings are threefold. The case study confirms the nature of simplification as organizational innovation and its influence towards the company liberation. We identify the stages of simplification process. Then, we highlight significant findings in terms of cost saving, time saving, and employee satisfaction. |
