Economists and sociologists emphasize two dimensions of the labor movement: the economical and sociological ones. Psychosociologists should put forward its third dimension : the cultural one. In that perspective unions appear as a structure of rebinding (re-linking, reconnecting) in an hyper-modern society caracterised by a lot of un-binding (de-linking, disconnecting) processes.
