Classic clinical psychoanalysis focuses on the level of verbal communication between the analysed and the analyst, and considers that this is the field par excellence where transfer and countertransfer take place.
In this article, we emphasise the importance of the pragmatic dimension and non verbal communication in the therapeutic situation, especially in the area of the treatment of pre-oedipian type pathologies and in particular in the specific context of face-to-face psychoanalytical psychotherapy. |
