Résumé : |
The question of the end of humanity , understood both as gender and number, is more or less confusedly in everybody’s minds. Regarding humanity as number, outweigh the problems of pollution, overcrowding, over-exploitation of resources and the increasing threats of global conflicts. But regarding humanity as gender dominates the more and more realistic hypothesis of its biotechnological override. It has therefore become urgent to look for a way of reformulating the concept of humanity, integrating modern cultural and scientific determinations that generate the crisis of our old certainties and even common understanding itself. |
