Ripco 2021 Research Day

On June 15, 2021, RIPCO held its 2nd Research Day, with very positive results.

The day began with the opening session with Silvester Ivanaj (Editor-in-Chief of RIPCO); Serge Kebabtchieff (Director of ESKA Publishing and RIPCO Publishing Director); and Paul Shrivastava (Chief Sustainability Officer, Director, Penn State's Sustainability Institute).

The 44 accepted papers were presented during the day. The quality of the presentations was highlighted by several moderators as well as by the participants. The presentations followed by the questions/answers were very enriching. All sessions combined, 235 people participated in this 2nd Research Day.

The day ended with the intervention of Sylvie Guerrero (University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada) who proposed a conference on the study of positive organizational behaviors, its fundamentals and its challenges. It was very "refreshing", according to some participants. Indeed, Sylvie invited us to take a different perspective than the one usually considered in the study of organizations. Namely, to move from the individual to the group in order to create a benevolent culture of positivity within organizations, through the recognition of the strengths and psychological resources of each individual.

Three papers were distinguished :

Best Communication in Positive Organizational Behavior: Bomoya Laetitia ADOU, Julie DEXTRAS-GAUTHIER and Marie-Ève DUFOUR Laval University - Laval Campus (Canada) for their paper "Transmission of mental health at work from the manager to the employees: the mediating role of the emotional intelligence of the supervisor and the moderating role of the organizational culture".

Best communication in organizational behavior: Aude Montlahuc-Vannod and Jean-Philippe Bouilloud for ESCP Business School for their communication "Desperately seeking agility: a study of the identity reinvention of managers in outplacement".

Young researcher best communication: Sophie Szymkoviak from the IUT Littoral Côte d'Opale for her paper " Les réseaux de bien-être au travail ".

Our thanks go to all the people who contributed to the success of this 2nd Research Day, to the RIPCO editorial team for the organization of this day, to the communicators for the quality of their work and to the participants who were numerous to accompany us and to enrich the exchanges.

The focus for the next RIPCO Research Day will be communicated soon. And we hope that many of you will join us on this occasion.
